Privacy policy

Effective September 26, 2026. Applies to the Quarter Hunter iPhone app (formerly 50 State Coins) and this website.

Quarter Hunter does not collect, sell, or share your personal information. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no third-party tracking in the app.

What stays on your devices

Your collections, the coins you check off, and your settings are stored on your iPhone. If you're signed in to iCloud, they're also kept in your private iCloud database so they sync to your other devices. That data belongs to your Apple Account, and we can't see or access it. You can delete it by deleting the app's collections, or from iCloud settings on your device.

The Home Screen widget reads a small progress summary that the app saves on your device. It never leaves your device.

Purchases

The optional Complete Collector purchase is handled entirely by Apple. We don't receive your name, email, or payment details. The app only checks with Apple whether the purchase is active on your account, and whether you first installed the app before version 2.0, which keeps national park quarters free for longtime users.

Notifications

If you turn on new design reminders, the app schedules them on your device from its built-in release dates. No notification server is involved.

Links to other websites

The app may link to the App Store and to Amazon or eBay search results for coin folders and coins. Links to Amazon and eBay are affiliate links: they identify Quarter Hunter as the referrer so we can earn a commission, but they don't include anything about you. Once you leave the app, those sites' privacy policies apply.

Children

Quarter Hunter is made for families, including kids. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.

This website

This site has no cookies, analytics, or forms. It's hosted on Cloudflare, which processes basic request information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. Fonts are served by Google Fonts.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Questions go to support@50statecoins.com.
